On July 6, villagers performed drum dance to greet guests from afar at Shibadong Village, Shuanglong Town, Huayuan County. The first Xiangxi Prefecture Tourism Development Conference was held on July 5 and 6. Five major activities were held to promote "tourism plus" and "plus tourism", including a summit forum on boosting rural revitalization through cultural tourism, field visits to cultural tourism key projects, and "A Taste of Xiangxi" Food Festival. These aim to help promote the recovery of cultural tourism, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the tourism sector, and build Xiangxi into a well-known tourist destination at home and abroad.
