Li Dehua, the ceramist "Clay Figure of Xiangxi",wasworking hardin Qianzhou of Jishou City. Influenced by his grandfather when he was young, he devoted himself to learning traditional folk clay sculpture and founded Xiangxi Folk Clay Art Museum to carry forward the clay sculpture skills. His works focus on showing the production and life scenes of the ethnic minorities in western Hunan province. They are vivid, simple and honest, and deeply loved by people.
