Between June 10 and 11, a group of 25 tourists from the Philippines visited Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Zhangjiajie Baofeng Lake, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, and other scenic areas. They were captivated by the breathtaking scenery along the way and praised the extraordinary beauty of Zhangjiajie, which left them feeling refreshed and delighted.
This was the first Philippine travel group received by Zhangjiajie since the city's tourism sector has recovered this year. The tourists were organized by the Philippines Uos Travel and locally guided by Zhangjiajie Sijiyoumei International Travel Agency. While in Zhangjiajie, the visitors had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the stunning natural scenery and observe unique local customs at the filming location of the movie "Avatar." They also commended the excellent tourism reception facilities.
A person in charge of the Zhangjiajie Sijiyoumei International Travel Agency mentioned that there are currently no direct flights from the Philippines to Hunan Province. Filipino tourists have to transfer from Shanghai to Zhangjiajie. However, it is believed that with the gradual improvement of transportation, there will be an increasing number of Filipino tourists visiting Zhangjiajie. Currently, Zhangjiajie has opened international flights to countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, and South Korea, and the overseas tourist market is rapidly growing.
