A report on the comprehensive blockchain index of Chinese cities in the second quarter of 2023 was released recently. The top five cities remained unchanged from last quarter. Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Changsha continue to hold the top five positions in overall blockchain development.

The report comprehensively reviewed hot issues and trends in the Chinese blockchain industry from April to June and objectively analyzed the current status of blockchain development in various cities from multiple perspectives. It aimed to provide reliable reference for the government and the blockchain industry in formulating development strategies.

In this quarter, Changsha's blockchain industry continued the upward trend and further narrowed the gap with the top three cities. It is reported that in this quarter, Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone's Xingsha Blockchain Industrial Park obtained good economic and social benefits. It gave instructions on the construction of 20 "blockchain + manufacturing" projects, with a total investment of 300 million CNY. The park also completed over 1.01 million pieces of blockchain copyright deposit certificates nationwide. The "UBANQUAN" copyright service platform of Hunan Tianhe Wenlian Science and Technology Co., Ltd. achieved a trade volume of 1.223 billion CNY.

In terms of the sub-index of safety risk, Changsha ranked first with an impressive score of 98.52, indicating the lowest safety risk. This is also the second time that Changsha has ranked first in this sub-index.

Changsha is the first inland city in China to establish a blockchain safety risk detection platform and issued local standards. It has formed an effective security system, consistently controlling safety risk at a low level.
