The high-quality paddy rice on the terraced fields in Changning City, Hengyang, has gradually matured in early autumn. The wind rippled the golden rice and the farmers reaped grains in the fields, which form a scenery of harvest.

In recent years, Changning authority has proactively explored a development way integrating ecology, tourism, culture, and agriculture. It has enhanced protection and comprehensive utilization of the terraced fields, creating a primitive idyllic scenery. Besides steadily increasing rice production capacity, it also strove to expand channels to increase local people's income, help the farmers get employed nearby their homes, and contribute to rural revitalization.
