Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, met with He Dongfeng, secretary of the CPC Committee and chairman of the Board of the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd. (COMAC), and his entourage in Changsha on the morning of September 21, 2023.

Secretary Shen, on behalf of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, welcomed the guests. He said that Hunan has been comprehensively implementing the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" blueprint drawn by President Xi Jinping, and vigorously promoting the development of the aviation industry.

He expected COMAC to actively participate in building Changsha into a global research and development center; construct a high-level large aircraft ground dynamics experimental platform; support more Hunan enterprises and research institutions to enter the COMAC industrial and supply chains; and, publicize and introduce Hunan's related industries, products and services. Hunan will, as always, provide full support and services for COMAC's investment and development in the province, he added.

Secretary He thanked Hunan for its concern and support for COMAC and introduced the corporate development. He noted that Hunan has a solid foundation in aviation industry and rich resources in science and education, and both sides enjoy a sound foundation and broad prospects for cooperation. COMAC is pushing forward the development of large aircraft, and will further strengthen partnership with Hunan in the industrial and supply chains, and collaboration between industries, universities, and research institutions. He remarked that the company would accelerate construction and operation of large aircraft ground dynamics experimental platform, and make more contributions to the economic and social development of Hunan.
