The Hunan provincial Party and government delegation took a study and inspection tour to Guangdong Province on September 23 and 24, 2023. Both sides then held a symposium on Guangdong-Hunan cooperation, development, and exchange in Guangzhou City on the afternoon of September 24. They discussed deepening exchanges and collaboration between Hunan and Guangdong.

Huang Kunming, secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Shen Xiaoming, his counterpart in Hunan Province, attended and made a speech.

Wang Weizhong, deputy secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and governor of Guangdong Province, and Mao Weiming, his counterpart in Hunan Province, introduce the economic and social development of the provinces respectively.

Meng Fanli, deputy secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, was present.

On the afternoon of September 24, a symposium on Guangdong-Hunan cooperation, development, and exchange was held in Guangzhou, to discuss strengthening mutual exchanges and partnership.

On September 23, the Hunan provincial Party and government delegation visited the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

On September 23, the Hunan delegation inspected the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone.
