The 3d China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo will take place in Changsha from June 29 to July 2. The China Southern Airlines Hunan Branch said on April 15 that, it would increase flight frequency on the Changsha-Nairobi route to promote the high-quality development of China and Africa in economy, trade, culture, tourism and other fields. Starting on April 16, the carrier would operate two flights from the current one per week. 

The Changsha-Nairobi route is serviced by the large long-range wide-body aircraft A350. The outbound flight CZ6043, which is operated every Wednesday and Sunday, departs from Changsha at 0:50 Beijing time and arrives in Nairobi at 7:30 local time. The return flight CZ6044, which is scheduled on every Wednesday and Sunday, leaves Nairobi at 15:00 local time and arrives in Changsha at 8:00 Beijing time the next day.

Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, is the economic and media center of East Africa and the headquarters of UN-Habitat and UNEP. Here, travelers can experience modern urban life in Africa and see the great migration of African animals up close.

The China Southern Airlines has recently launched some discount tickets for passengers on the Changsha-Nairobi route. Before June 30, the cheapest one-way ticket from Changsha to Nairobi is 4,450 yuan, and that from Nairobi to Changsha is 4,820 yuan. The lowest price for a round trip is 6,840 yuan. All prices above exclude taxes and fees. Transit passengers can also enjoy various preferential activities such as free accommodation and free meals provided by the Changsha Huanghua International Airport.
