He asked to accelerate industrial upgrading; build a modern industrial system and a coordinated urban-rural and regional development system; implement the rural revitalization strategy; and, strive to realize high-quality "great changes in the mountainous countryside" in the new era.

May 15, Secretary Shen inspected flood control and drought emergency rescue at the Dongting Lake Regional Emergency Rescue Yiyang Center.
