A stunning musical fireworks show was staged at the Orange Isle Fireworks Square in Changsha on the evening of May 11.

The fireworks show, themed "Welcome to Changsha",  was divided into four chapters: "Happy Changsha", "Splendid Hunan", "A Date with Asia" and "A Sea of Stars". It showcased the economic and social development, cultural tourism, scientific and technological innovation, and other achievements of Changsha and even the province of Hunan. The fireworks display created various patterns in the night sky, such as waterfalls, wind chimes, smiling faces, peach hearts, Chinese knots and Guest-greeting Pines.

The 20-minute fireworks display drew a sizable crowd. Tourists from around the world, as well as locals, were treated to the city's incomparable charm again.
