During the May Day holiday, the cultural tourism market in Hunan Province generally operated well, with four goals in safety, order, quality and efficiency achieved. A total of 953 units under provincial monitoring received 14.5752 million tourist trips, a year-on-year increase of 209.55%. The combined operating income reached 1.928 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 256.01%.

A total of 339 tourist areas under monitoring saw 13.3154 million tourist trips, a year-on-year increase of 228.47%, and achieved operating income of 1.755 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 287.75%.

Among them, 11 national 5A-level scenic areas received 3,311,100 tourist arrivals, a year-on-year increase of 300.1%, and achieved operating revenue of 831 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 382.3%. A total of 126 national 4A-level tourist attractions received 5,517,400 tourist trips, a year-on-year increase of 204.49%, and achieved operating income of 556 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 252.74%. A total of 198 national 3A-level scenic spots and below received 4,486,900 tourist trips, a year-on-year increase of 217.28%, and achieved operating income of 368 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 199.98%.

Fifty-five red tourist areas received 2,556,600 tourist arrivals, a year-on-year increase of 201.9%, and generated operating income of 195 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 299.7%.

Sixty-four rural tourism areas received 693,300 tourist visitors, a 128.35% increase year on year, and generated operating income of 71.026 million yuan, an increase of 125.43% year on year.

The number of tourist arrivals in 407 accommodation units rose 65.45% to 335,400. The combined operating revenue reached 162 million yuan, a surge of 104.77% year on year. The accumulated occupancy rate of accommodation units under monitoring reached 82.06%.

A total of 207 cultural service units offered services for 924,400 tourist visitors, a year-on-year increase of 104.48%. Among them, 50 museums and memorial halls received 600,700 tourist arrivals, a year-on-year increase of 154.92%. Eighty-nine libraries received 251,700 visits, increased 43.85% from the same period last year. Sixty-eight cultural centers served 72,000 tourist arrivals, up 73.74% year on year.

A total of 108 units with new business models of the cultural and tourism sectors under monitoring received 2.744 million tourist arrvials, a year-on-year increase of 210.86%, and generated operating income of 307 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 237.38%.
