Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, inspected economic and social development of Loudi City and then hosted a symposium on October 9, 2023.

He asked to set the goals for the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" blueprint drawn by President Xi Jinping; comprehensively implement the spirit of the fourth plenary meeting of the 12th CPC Hunan Provincial Committee; firmly stick to the primary task of promoting high-quality development; and, shoulder new responsibilities and make new progress at the new starting point.

Provincial leaders Xie Weijiang and Qin Guowen, and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Bai Lianyang, attended.

On October 9, Secretary Shen came to the Hunan Meicheng Ceramics Technology Co., Ltd. to learn about the development of electronic ceramics industry in Xinhua County.

On October 9, Secretary Shen learned about the development of printing industry at the Caire Photocopying Technology Co., Ltd. in Xinhua County.

On October 9, Secretary Shen inspected mine restoration, tailing pond management, and antimony contaminated river treatment in Xikuangshan (reputed as the "capital of antimony ore"), Lengshuijiang.

On October 9, Secretary Shen visited the Hunan Iron & Steel Group Lianyuan Steel Co., Ltd. to learn about the technical process and pollution control.

On October 9, Secretary Shen checked rice growth at a demonstration base of rice varieties with low cadmium accumulation in Shuidongdi Town, Louxing District.

On October 9, Secretary Shen paid an unannounced visit to Fengyuan Resettlement Base, Shijing Town, Louxing District. He learned about the challenges faced by the resettled population who have been living in temporary prefab homes for an extended period due to delays in the construction of permanent relocation housing.

On October 9, Secretary Shen chaired a symposium after inspecting the economic and social development of Loudi City.
