The photo, taken on October 21, shows a dragon dance performance held at the Zhongtian Ancient Dwellings to celebrate autumn harvest as well as the Chongyang Festival. The Chongyang Festival, also known as Double Ninth Festival, is an annual festival to show respect and care for the elderly throughout China. This performance was staged by villagers of Zhongtian Village, Miaoqian Town and its neighboring Shipan Village, Luoqiao Town, Changning City. They waved flags, played gongs and drums, and performed exciting dragon dances to express happiness of a bumper harvest. (Photo/Liu Donghua)
