Secretary Shen, on behalf of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, welcomed the guests and briefed them on the economic and social development of Hunan. He noted that Hunan has been thoroughly implemented the national "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" strategic arrangements, and actively promoted the all-round green transition in economic and social development. It has provided a broad space for all kinds of enterprises, including the ALBA Group, to thrive in Hunan.

He hoped the ALBA Group to give full play to its own advantages, increase investment in the resource recycling industry in Hunan, actively participate in Hunan's green, low-carbon and recycling advancement, and help to attract more German enterprises to invest and prosper in Hunan.

Dr. Schweitzer introduced the ALBA Group's business in Hunan, adding that the group will actively explore the combination of its advanced technologies and Hunan's local advantages to open up new cooperation fields between the two sides. He was willing to take advantage of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo and other platforms and learn from Hunan's experience in exchanges and cooperation with Africa, so as to better achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.
