As the Guangxi kids (nicknamed "little sweet tangerines") touring in northeast China fueled tourism boom, a trend of south-north tourist interactions has flourished, presented by a rebound of winter study tours. Recently, a group of 13 children from Fuyuan, Jiamusi City, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, visited Huangdu Village in Tongdao Dong Autonomous County, Huaihua City. These kids, nicknamed "little Siberian tigers", made friends with local children, nicknamed "little Lushengs" referring to a specialty musical instrument of Dong people. They together visited the Drum Tower, toured around the Dong village, tasted snacks of Dong people, and experienced distinctive folk customs and culture of the Dong ethnic group.
