Luhongshan–Cili Expressway, a part of G59 Huhhot–Beihai Expressway, stretches from Luhong Mountain in the border area between Hunan and Hubei provinces, and ends at Zhangjiashan in the west of Cili County. As a two-way four-lane expressway, it has a total length of 79 kilometers and a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. It is expected to be completed and open to traffic by the end of June 2025. Upon opening, it will link several famous tourist attractions such as the Three Gorges, Huping Mountain, and Zhangjiajie, contributing to the social and economic development of the northwestern regions of Hunan Province.
