"Liqiu," or the start of autumn, the 13th solar term on the Chinese lunar calendar, began on August 7 this year. On that day, a series of Gan Qiu activities of Miao ethnic minority was launched at Pailiao Village in Shuanglong Town, Huayuan County. Miao people from near and far staged various performances such as dragon and lion dances, Miao drum performances, and Miao folk songs.
