Hunan's first tourist train tailored for the elderly, known as the "Silver Train," departed from Changsha Railway Station at 13:30 on April 21. Carrying more than 400 silver-haired passengers, the train is embarking on a 7-day journey and will visit a series of tourist destinations in Sichuan and Gansu provinces. The sleeper-equipped train features two tour guides and professional healthcare consultants. By adopting an integrated model of "railway + cultural tourism + healthcare", the train offers enhanced travel convenience for Hunan's senior residents while facilitating their exploration of northwest China.
