Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, inspected rural revitalization in Shibadong Village, Huayuan County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture on the morning of August 12, 2023. He asked to study and implement the instructions made by President Xi Jinping during his visit to Shibadong Village in November 2013; shoulder the political responsibility as the birthplace of the idea of "targeted poverty alleviation"; focus on common prosperity and coordinated development; and, consolidate and expand the achievements made in poverty alleviation in coordination with the extensive drive for rural vitalization, to enable all villagers to live a happier and better life.
