This is the first time that Qi Baishi's immersive digital art exhibition debuts in the world. It’s also the first attempt at incorporating hundreds of authentic Qi Baishi artworks with immersive digital new media technology.

Qi Baishi was born in Xiangtan, Hunan Province. The theme of the exhibition is "Living in a foreign land, the moonlight illuminates the mountains in my hometown".

Over 40 laser projectors combine paintings and lighting effects perfectly. Five plots create a retrospective of time leading the audience to review Qi Baishi's life story.

Besides the digital art exhibition, there are DIY creative experiences waiting for you such as paper fan oil paintings and paper umbrella oil paintings and also features the authentic works of Qi Baishi in many different categories, including paintings, calligraphy, seal cutting and literature.

Take a look at this piece of art. Two mandarin ducks are resting beneath the lotus flowers. Do you know that Qi's birthplace, Xiangtan, is known as the "Lotus City" ? There are many lotus flowers here. The aromatic gladdening the heart and refreshing the mind which aroused Qi’s nostalgia to paint lotus from his hometown over and over again.

The deep-rooted relationship between Qi Baishi and his hometown Hunan is the source of his artistic creation.

快看这幅画，两只鸳鸯正在荷花下休憩。你知道吗？齐白石的故乡湘潭，被誉为“莲城”，这里有很多荷花。那香味沁人心脾，唤起了齐白石的思乡之情，使他一次又一次提笔描绘家乡的荷花。

齐白石与家乡湖南的深厚渊源是他艺术创作的源泉。
